The goal was to improve visibility, energy efficiency, and long-term sustainability by upgrading the existing fixtures to high-performance LED lighting. Project Scope & Highlights LED Lighting Upgrade – Replaced outdated fixtures with brighter, more energy-efficient LED lighting, improving visibility for swimmers, coaches, and spectators. Enhanced Energy Efficiency – The new system reduces energy consumption while lowering maintenance costs over time. Ameren Incentive Program – Assisted MICDS in securing an Ameren incentive, helping offset the cost of the upgrade while maximizing energy savings. A Brighter, More Efficient Facility Proper lighting is critical in aquatic facilities, enhancing safety, performance, and the overall experience. With this LED upgrade, the MICDS Natatorium now benefits from improved brightness, reduced glare, and lower operational costs—all while contributing to a more sustainable campus.
