Project Overview
Compass Electrical Solutions partnered with Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS) to support a technology and power upgrade at their squash courts facility. The project involved TV installation, power and data infrastructure, and AV integration to support real-time scoring and enhanced user experience.
Project Scope & Highlights
- Power Installation – Cut power into the wall above the squash courts to support mounted displays.
- TV Installation – Mounted and installed six new TVs, each fitted with protective covers to withstand the court environment.
- AV Cabling & Terminations – Installed HDMI and data cabling, enabling communication between the TVs and iPads used for scoring.
- Labeling & Testing
– Clearly labeled each display (including those in the courts and lobby) and tested all connections to ensure functionality.

With these upgrades, MICDS now offers a seamless, integrated scoring system that enhances both player and spectator experiences. The installation supports durability, ease of use, and real-time data display, all within a highly active athletic environment.

The tenant renovation included a complete electrical refresh along with extensive low voltage infrastructure to support the technology and connectivity needs of the new workspace. From temporary power during construction to low-voltage networking infrastructure, our team provided turnkey electrical solutions from start to finish. Project Scope & Highlights Temporary Construction Power – Provided temporary 120/240V single-phase power for the on-site banking trailer, allowing uninterrupted customer service during renovations. Complete Electrical Demolition – Removed existing electrical systems and lighting from the former tenant space. New Electrical Infrastructure – Installed power distribution for the newly renovated branch. LED Lighting Installation – Installed new, energy-efficient lighting throughout the office and customer areas. Low Voltage & CAT6 Cabling – Installed structured cabling for networking, security cameras, and access control systems. HVAC Power – Supplied electrical service for the building's new HVAC equipment. The project was designed to support both current production needs and future growth, providing a flexible electrical system that can adapt as manufacturing operations evolve. Project Scope & Highlights 480-Volt Power Distribution – Installed new overhead conduit and wiring to supply dedicated power for welding equipment. Custom Conduit Installation – Fabricated specialty conduit bends to navigate the facility and accommodate the building's layout. Flexible Power Drops – Installed movable power drops, allowing welding stations to be relocated as production layouts change over time. Electrical Panel Relocation – Reconfigured existing panels to improve system functionality and accommodate the facility expansion. New Sub-Panel Installation – Added a new sub-panel to provide reliable, organized power distribution for the new equipment.
